Allen Haw is a detached holiday cottage that dates back to 1746 which still retains much character with features including multi-paned windows, original sneck doors, stone staircase and open fire set in a cast iron range.

In a tranquil position, the front door opens out onto open pasture where you can enjoy the wonderful views across the valley from it's elevated position, with the River Dee flowing below and the lower slopes of Whernside above.

The ground floor features a living room with stone flagged floor, open fire set in a cast iron range, flat screen television with DVD and seating. A large well equipped country-style kitchen with maple floor, pine table and seating for six, warming red range cooker with double oven (also powers the central heating) and a door leading to the rear paddock. Equipment includes a dishwasher, washing machine, fridge/freezer, radio, microwave oven and toaster.

Also on the ground floor is a study/single bedroom with shower WC room.

On the first floor there are two bedrooms - one double and one large twin. Also a small bathroom with bath, WC and washbasin.

Prices include linen, electricity and heating. Wi-Fi access is also included in the price.
