riverside pastures to breathtaking fell-top views, you'll gain an insight into life in Dentdale both past and present and pick up a little local knowledge from our team of enthusiastic guides.

Exclusive to the festival include local interest, history and pub themed walks, also the classic Alfred Wainwright inspired ascent of Whernside and a full traverse of the Rise Hill Ridge - festival walks >>

At the end of a good day's walking relax with a pint or two of local ale in front of an open fire at a number of informative evening events to be held throughout the village.

Working alongside Northern Rail we are able to provide full transport links to and from Dent Village over the festival weekend.

If you are planning to arrive by train on the Friday there is an opportunity to participate in a special Ribblehead Station to Dent Village walk. Departing at around 1.30pm from Ribblehead Station, enjoy an afternoon's walk passing beneath the famous Ribblehead Viaduct before following the ancient pack-horse track of the Craven Way across the lower slopes of Whernside and into Dentdale. Baggage transfer to Dent Village is also included.
